Get-me-lone which translated means, "Git on out of here, Skipper, and leave me alone!" My parents had a medium sized terrior (I don't remember which kind it was black and white) that always got so excited and would jump up on Cynthia and Mama anytime they went out into the back yard. So Mama would say that phrase. Cynthia was 4 at the time and shortened it to, "Git-me-lone!" to which I would say, "I'm gonna git-you-lone, girl!" then I would pick her up and tickle, tickle.
Water-down which translated means, "Cynthia, look at that water down under the bridge, that's the Reeeeeeed River." Alex and Mary-Jo also inherited this translation as well.
